We are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of industrial waste separation and reclamation equipment. All modules from feed conveyors, hoppers, trommels, picking stations and discharge conveyors are manufactured to our client’s individual requirements. We can supply a range of products from a single trommel through to a complete system installed on site.

Unlike other systems available in today’s marketplace, our systems use electric power units and with an absence of engine driven hydraulics benefit from a unique maintenance free design.

Trommels

The hub of our recycling system is in the form of our unique separator trommel. Our standard HNX/101 will comfortably handle between 800 – 1000 tonnes of heavy - grade building industry waste. Testing has confirmed that in normal operating conditions the HNX/101 will separate out approximately 90 – 100% of fines from building rubble, leaving hard-core to continue through the system. In most cases the fines are then sold on as sub-soil or reclaimed as clean land fill.

All HNX trommels are user and environment friendly with no exhaust gases and limited operating noise.

Conveyors

Ron Smith Recycling Limited design and manufacture conveyor belts for the following applications: feeding, picking stations and discharge. Using only the best available materials our conveyors utilise modern impact bar and roller technology. All conveyor units have full tracking adjustment and feature a revolutionary system that enables accurate and easy on site set-up.

In line with our health and safety policy all conveyors exceed current regulations and are fully guarded with drive elements and nip points enclosed.

Acessories

Based on past client requirements we offer additional elements to customise and compliment the standard system application. We can design and manufacture picking belt platforms or enclosed prefabricated structures, which have guarded pedestrian access and ensure safe and comfortable working conditions.

A relatively recent addition to the HNX/101 family has been the design and manufacture of a secondary separation trommel. This shorter drum is designed to subject the fines to a further process of separation by utilising a smaller perforation aperture screen.

In addition we can offer a full finishing, logistic, installation and after sales service. We will supervise the customised livery of your system to the highest standards, discussing and advising at every phase. We supply a comprehensive cranage and haulage service to transport the system safely to your premises and supply trained staff and supervision to execute the final installation and operating tests.
